Ghost Light Theatre Company invites you to a cozy reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Join us for an evening of holiday cheer, warm hot cocoa, and timeless storytelling.

Inspired by the true story of Tyisha Miller, a 19 year-old African American girl who was shot by police while she lay unconscious in a car. Told through beatboxin’, spoken word, and hip-hop dance, Dreamscape reimagines the innocent pleasures of her life and hopes for the future with the sweetness and humor of a teenager’s insight. 

Structured around the autopsy report describing each of the twelve bullet wounds, this is a highly acclaimed, clear-eyed look at the relationship between race, the body, and violence.
